Annual Events
There are regular special annual events and exhibitions held in the Village Hall as detailed below. Dates will be advised in the News section of this website.
The events include:
Annual Duck Race (as featured on Radio Lancashire) – Springtime
This annual favourite offers fun for all the family. A fine selection of food and refreshment is available at reasonable prices. Competitions for the best decorated ducks - children and adults; duck races for children and adults. There are prizes for the best decorated ducks and race winners. The local Fire Brigade supports the race (to help the race go with a flow!). Funds raised go to Village Hall funds to maintain and develop the hall on behalf of the community.
Scarecrow Festival Weekend – 15th and 16th May
This is a new event for the Village Hall. Follow the scarecrow trail through the village and enjoy the activities and a delicious lunch in the Village Hall.

Kelbrook Fell Race and Family Fun Day – 5th June
The fell race is part of the Pendle Grand Prix. For those less athletic the family fun day offers lots of great activities and fun things to do.
Summer Art Exhibition – Bank holiday weekend 28th to 30th August
Exhibition of the works of local artists; these artworks are available for sale. This event is held by Kelbrook Art Group.
Autumn Arts & Crafts Exhibition – 6th and 7th November
This annual favourite presents a range of high quality arts and crafts
High quality arts and crafts are on display from local artists, craftsmen and suppliers. Christmas bargains. Refreshments are provided by the Ladies Guild.
Christmas Fayre – 4th December
The new Christmas Fayre is an opportunity to meet Santa, play games and purchase those yuletide bargains. This is an event held by the Village Hall in conjunction with Kelbrook Primary School.
New Years Eve Ceilidh – 31 December
Bring your own food and drink and welcome the New Year in good company and to the sound of great live music.
